A new head office is established in Rosebery, Sydney.
The National distribution centre was relocated to a new warehouse in Prestons, Western Sydney.

2010 – 2020
Manufacturing operations were commenced in China to manufacture Bremick’s high corrosion protection B8 self-drilling screw product range.
Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Christchurch, Adelaide and Auckland distribution centres were all expanded to accommodate the ever-expanding Bremick product range.
Branches were opened in Newcastle and Wellington

2000 – 2010
Bremick launched a program financing entrepreneurs to open small independently owned distribution businesses as Bremick customers.
The first Outdoor Exposure Corrosion Test site was established next to Bondi Beach in Sydney, to test the Bremick B8 Corrosion protection coating.
Bremick’s Quality Control Laboratory becomes accredited by the Australian National Association of Testing Authorities. The accreditation is awarded to testing laboratories that maintain complex processes of testing and calibration to the highest standards and demonstrates to customers that the Bremick laboratory outputs are valid and reliable.
Commenced manufacturing of Petrochemical stud bolts locally in Sydney.
Bremick continues to expand across Australia, opening warehouse branches in Townsville, far North Queensland and Adelaide, South Australia.

1990 – 2000
The Bremick National Distribution Centre in Sydney was moved to a larger location close to the Sydney CBD, doubling its warehouse capacity.
Bremick expanded it’s branch network into Australa’s Northern Territory, opening it’s first branch in Darwin.
Innovative automated packing machinery from Denmark was installed into the Sydney National Distribution Centre to commence the local re-packaging of fasteners imported in steel drums.
An industry-first radio frequency paperless warehousing system was implemented into all branch warehouses in 1996.

1970 – 1990
Bremick began to specialise in the importation of fasteners from Japan before expanding its supply chain to Taiwan, China, Korea and India.
Bremick expanded its branch network opening warehouse branches in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. The branches were supported by new and enthusiastic Bremick teams, focused on better servicing Bremick customers interstate.
In response to a fast growing product range and customer demand, Bremick expanded both Sydney and Brisbane branches in quick succession.
Bremick launched across the ditch commencing operations in New Zealand, opening branches in Auckland and Christchurch.
The first state of the art quality control laboratory was built at the Sydney Distribution Centre to provide quality assurance for Bremick products.

1965
The Hawksford family has owned and operated businesses specialising in the manufacture and supply of engineering products for over three generations.
Founded by Michael Hawksford in a small warehouse in Redfern, Sydney, Bremick commenced operations as an importer of a range of general engineering supplies from Japan and Taiwan.
Embedded in the Bremick foundations since 1965, is the pursuit and establishment of quality supply across all product ranges, cemented by strong supply relationships.
